Q: How much will the deck and the frame work add to the over all weight of our RV?

A: Around 600 pounds depending which model you are interested in.

Q: How long does it take to put the entire deck together?

A: The first or second time you set the deck up it will take the most time, of course, maybe 45 minutes. But, by the fourth or fifth time you set the deck up you will be able to complete the entire set it up in about twenty minutes. It will become a test for the professional camper. He or she will always try to beat their best time. The other campers will gather around to watch you set up your deck. Get use to the special attention that having our deck will bring to your camp site.

Q: How long does it take to dismantle and store the deck?

A: Just as setting the deck up becomes a camping contest, the removal and storing of the deck in the RV cargo space will become a process that will surprise and maybe even amaze the other campers as well. It will become very easy to put the entire deck in its proper place, ready to travel, in about fifteen minutes. The proper procedure will eventually be developed by you. The better the deck is stored the easier it will be to set up the next time.

Q: Will a deck harm the grass at the camp site?

A: Actually, a deck that is elevated above the ground, even a few inches will be better for the grass underneath. The worst thing you can do to the grass is put a carpet directly on it. Our decks actually will allow air and some sunlight to reach the grass. The higher the deck is set, above the grass, the better it is for the grass.
